Der Asteroid 2020DD kommt der Sonne extrem nahe. Es könnte sich bei diesem Asteroiden um ein ähnliches Objekt wie Oumuamua handeln. Ein Asteroid der komplett "ausgebrannt" ist. Leider ist es nicht möglich den Asteroiden derzeit besser zu beobachten.

Das zentrale schwarze Loch Sagittarius A* befindet sich näher an unserer Erde als vermutet. Neue Messungen zeigen auch, dass die Geschwindigkeit mit der sich unser Sonnensystem um das Zentrum der Galaxie bewegt höher ist, als vorher gemessen.

Der Mars-Rover Perseverance wird am 18.02.2021 auf dem Mars landen. Heikel wird es beim Eintritt in die Marsatmosphäre. Sollte die Landung fehlerfrei gelingen erwarten uns extrem interessante Informationen über die Geschichte des Mars. Auch ob es dort Leben gibt oder gab, dürfte mit diesem Rover geklärt werden können.

Unter dem Thwaites Glacier in der Antarktis befindet sich ein ausgedehntes Flusssystem. Diese Flüsse werden durch Schmelzwasser gespeist und führen zu einer Beschleunigung des Gletschers. Welche Prozesse hierfür verantwortlich sind , ist noch nicht ganz geklärt.

Wissenschaftler haben eine Anordnung von Galaxien entdeckt, die erst 900 Millionen Jahre nach dem Urknall entstanden sein muss. Im Zentrum dieser Struktur befindet sich ein gigantisches schwarzes Loch mit mehreren Milliarden Sonnenmassen. Wie solche Strukturen so kurz nach dem Urknall entstehen konnten bleibt in Geheimnis.

Gibt es Leben auf dem Jupitermond Europa? Eine Mission wird 2023 zum Mond starten, um dies zu klären. Der Europa Clipper ist mir vielen Instrumenten ausgerüstet. Unter anderem soll ermittelt werden wie dick das Eis ist, welches den darunter liegenden Ozean umschließt.

Die Entwicklung von Planeten in Mehrfachsternensystemen ist Thema einer Studie. Wie können sich Planeten in solchen Systemen bilden und welchen gravitativen Einflüssen sind sie ausgesetzt. Interstellare Objekte, wie zum Beispiel Oumuamua oder Borisov könnten durch solche Einflüsse aus ihren Sternensystemen geschleudert worden sein.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed it will give players of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 (or on PS5 via backward compatibility) refunds for purchasing the game. But the platform holder is taking things a step further and actually removing Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store for digital purchase "until further notice."
In a newly posted refund-related page, SIE confirmed its intentions to offer full refunds to all players who purchased Cyberpunk via the PS Store, while also committing to delisting the game for the time being. The company's full statement reads:
"SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.
"Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution."
