Der Asteroid Apophis wird der Erde am 13.04.2029 sehr nahe kommen. Auf Basis neuer Erkenntnisse über die Umlaufbahn wurde ermittelt, dass der Asteroid am 13.04.2029 NICHT einschlagen wird. Durch die Annäherung an die Erde kommt es allerdings zu einer leichten Veränderung der Umlaufbahn. Weitere Annäherungen des Asteroiden erfolgen 2036 und 2068.
